Whip Logo

The name ``Whip'' refers to a whip antenna, not a whip like a bullwhip.

This sophisticated motion plugin makes objects react like a stiff spring, always wanting to be pointing in the same direction. The plugin is actually a true physical simulation of the effect forces have on a stiff rod.

The simulation can react to wind, gravity, and motion. The restoration "springiness" and damping can be tuned.

Whip is simpler than other physics simulation packages for LightWave, allowing Whip to work interactively in Layout itself. Its many applications include antennas, flapping handles, diving boards, wobbling objects, swinging ropes, car suspensions, pendulum-like effects, (and, well, we could go on. It does a lot.)
